This morning January 5, 2010, real estate expert Barbara Corcoran was interviewed on NBC’s TODAY Show about her “Top 10 Cities for Best Home Bargains”. She looked at areas overall – job growth, good schools – and good housing prices. AKRON, Ohio made the list!
She said although median prices are 10% below the peak in 2007, this isn’t only the old rubber capital of the world - research, financial and hi-tech businesses are moving in and job growth is strong in Akron.
