Your Personalized Housing Horoscope
A friend of mine, Ken Armstrong (who has an incredible blog by the way) sent me a photo of a property located on Lower Sherrard St. (my last name) in Dublin Ireland. I looked at this photo, studied it even... I decided to have a little housing horoscope fun with a few people I know just using their names. Some of these people are from Twitter, Facebook or other forums that I participate in. None of this of course should be taken seriously and it's all just for fun. Your horoscope is based on the unique property (details/image) that matches your name. If you'd like your name (first or last) added to the next round of the housing horoscope, post a comment with your first and last name below (Full names won't be shown.) And hey, don't take it personally. The house told your story, not me!

*New* Natalie Blvd. Sagamore Hills, Ohio ($212k)

Natalie - Oh, give me a home where the... Yes, Natalie needs room to roam and she likes being free. Free at home, work, mind and creativity. Never plain... but doesn't let you know all the intricate details either. Multiple levels makes her fun to explore. She attaches easily and appreciates the greenery. Morning lover and deep breath taker. Family and the space you share with them is your true bliss. You're overdue flowers and someone seriously needs to realize that and do something about it!

*New* David St. North Olmsted, Ohio ($36k)

David - Likes to interact with others frequently. Somewhat dark and secluded on occasion. Likes things pretty simple and takes it easy. Smiles easily and appreciates the small things. Reserves space at home to accommodate the load and stress at work. It may be time to move up or change if not completely satisfied. David's time is David's time. Your space is your own. You tend to spend freely outside of your domain. Add color when down, take time to find the roses first and then smell them...

*New* Regina St. Perry, Ohio ($262k)

Regina - Young, fresh and new. Space is required. Not quite finished and has growing to do. Multiple elements to this pretty construction. Fabulous interior, you're just not privy to see the pics. A fan of expensive class. Kind generosity makes her unique and appreciated. She calls the shots but needs assistance being decorated. Make more room for meditation and alone time. The grass may be greener on the other side...

*new* Ronald Dr. Parma, Ohio ($130k)

Ronald - Lives and thrives on basic necessities. Unpretentious, humble and strong. Likes to have loved ones close and doesn't require added frills to be happy. Not a huge fan of flowers or bold colors. Strong family roots. Family is put before money or things. Will welcome you and invite you into his world, but you have to respect his surroundings and what defines him. When close quarters or mundane chores of life creep in, take a needed break and do something for you.

*new* Høy St. Cleveland, Ohio ($26k!)

øyvind - There's something hiding upstairs! Likes to be boxed in and yet needs many escape røutes. New rails added to keep those close in but not too contained to keep those that want to be free out. A little too shy to be seen full frontal. Many levels of living and lots of nooks. Oxygen is abound and visitors will be cømfortable, cool and protected. Don't forget to use your views, your porch for relaxing and your top level space for picking fruit and feeding the birds stale leftovers.

Lower Sherrard St. Dublin Ireland. ($2mil)

Sherrard - Red door no longer painted black. Left wing. Cornered. Expensive without the added frills. Colorful, and well built. Attaches easily and is forced to coincide with others daily. Different levels of view and different perspectives of the noisy traffic of life. Pick a door, pick a day, but be prepared to wait for a parking spot. Someone will come knocking soon. Stray dogs should be avoided.

Armstrong Rd. Wooster, Ohio ($450k)

Armstrong - Rugged exterior but a warm and cozy interior. Somewhat introverted but shows off well. Stunning first impression with a lingering attractiveness. Strong. Each level offers something different. Each door, a new dwelling. The final price is something to work for. Plenty of space to roam and explore. Boredom isn't a factor. Strangers asking for help should be a focus.

Debbie Rd. Medina, Ohio ($105k)

Debbie - High above the rest. Nestled and situated in a landscape of calm. Just far enough to be secluded without being alone. Two distinct sides, both needed and used frequently. Can stand apart or alone if needed quite easily. It takes a minute to get to there, but when you do, what's inside will impress. Don't let the price fool you, with a quick blow dry and some mascara, she's a million bucks. Overwhelming projects should be taken one step at a time.

Cook Rd. Olmsted Township, Ohio ($230k)

Cook - Large in life. Powerful and successful in all aspects. Somewhat old fashioned. Enjoys quiet nooks when the time allows. Homebody. Space is needed for peaceful getaways. Neighbors are always welcome, but when the door closes, the shoes come off and relaxation begins. Well grounded. Doesn't need to boast. What you see is what you get. A solid foundation. Take a moment when needed.

Byrd Nest Amherst, Ohio ($263k)

Byrd - Not quite finished. Scenery isn't a factor. Not meant to be judged by the exterior. Privacy required. Wants to see out, but on selected time. Plain colors are preferred. No lawn chair or porch swing needed. Approachable yet curious. There's a pillar to post and it only holds up part of the structure. The strength is buried beyond sight. There's plenty of room for expansion and growth. Worry less about facade and the view from others.

Fisk St. Piqua, Ohio (Not For Sale)

Fisk - Humble. Quaint. Simple with most. Sometimes hidden. The only space required is enough to perform necessary tasks. Excess is former. Larger than perceived. Can by mysterious and often quiet. Prefers wide open spaces to travel. Basic necessities in life are needed, but happiness on a larger scale is a must. Well kept and doesn't like to brag. Stay okay with the current status, try to change more with less.

Just came in from a day-in-the-rain and found this.

'Very charmed by my 'residence'. A really smarty-patarty post and you *know* we all like that.

(I'm also slightly bemused that I actually used to live in your house) :)

Thank you!

Ken... I want to live in your house... No offense... And I love when you use "Smarty Patarty!" How's that fire coming along?

Atrais, of course... You're first on my list for the second round. (And, hi.)

-- My comment moderation thing has been acting weird... If anyone posted and doesn't see theirs, please re-post... Sorry.

The fire is burning bright, thanks. :)

How could I take offense? I'll chop some wood to warm the place up.
