Our Sold Homes in 2008 - A Year In Review

The homes above are some of the properties we sold in 2008. Notice the range of cities, areas and prices. Our team of Realtors help buyers and sellers in seven counties within Northeast Ohio. We also work with the most reliable and competitive mortgage brokers in the Cleveland area. Some of these prices are unbelievable. Now is the time.

In 2008, our average sale price was $140,800. We sold many bank owned and HUD properties in Ohio at ridiculously low prices and it has been quite fun considering the government and banks can be difficult to work with. It was an interesting year for the real estate market and despite up and down averages and percentages, our team helped buyers obtain their dream homes or investments at an average of 91% of the list price. Many of these sale prices include closing costs paid by the seller, which haven't been factored in, so the percentage is actually lower. We take pride in negotiating for our home buyers and getting them the best price and terms possible.

In 2008, we helped home owners get 93% of their asking price. Our average time on the market for our listed properties was 40 days. That's incredible considering many homes across the country and in Ohio are sitting on the market for months if not years.

While many real estate companies, banks and agents didn't have the best year, we had a record breaking 2008. It was very busy for us. We have the number one real estate website in the Cleveland area and home sellers love our marketing range and exposure. Home buyers enjoy our expertise and availability. We have also helped many people relocate to Ohio, and we're very proud of that. Relocation is one of our specialties and there's nothing like finding the perfect home and area for families coming in from out of town.

Having the right agent in this market is necessary. Having extensive knowledge with lending, programs, negotiating, HUD homes and housing values couldn't be more important right now. The YouShouldOwn.com team of agents not only have the experience to deal with down and up markets, we have the largest brokerage in the state behind us, Howard Hanna.

If you're in the market to buy or sell a home, we would love to work with you and make your real estate experience a great one. You can search all properties for sale in Ohio using our MLS or email us to get started. Whatever your situation or question, we're here to help. Call or text 216.323.4620 24 hours a day, or contact us online.

With the new interest rates and property values being at an all time low, we are looking forward to a wonderful 2009 and helping more home buyers and sellers fulfill their real estate dreams and cash in on the fabulous deals. If you're interested in learning about a specific city, here's a list of cities in Northeast Ohio and their real estate statistics

Robert - Thanks! I wish the same back to you. Thanks for stopping by.

Justin - Hi Smiley! So nice of you to visit. It should be a pretty great year for you as well. Great rates, Streamline, and homes being snatched up for unprecedented prices. Wish the same your way...

Bendz! Still working on the site, it needs a lot of improvements but getting there.

How's the new job coming along? I actually called TWC today about an HD issue and some channels not having sound. Maybe I should just call you...

Happy belated back, glad to hear from you.
